As the number.2 overall selection,Griffin received much of the

national attention early in the season, however Wilson's play is on par with his throughout the season. The Seahawks called things conservatively at the beginning of the season, however,Wilson played major plays when they needed. The second half was a different story.Wilson has developed into a strong quarterback in the pocket as well as running as he keeps the defense on their toes, and also establishing the ability to communicate with Sidney Rice and Golden Tate.He isn't prone to errors, finishing the season with 26 touchdown passes and just 10 interceptions.
Similar to Griffin,Wilson is also a danger in the field,no matter if it's planned or extended by scrambling. He averaged five yards of rushing this season and added four rushing touchdowns. But it's Lynch who has the most work out of the backfield, with an average of five yards per run for the second-highest amount of plays in football.Similar to Wilson,Lynch rarely coughs his way to victory, only losing two fumbles all year.A positive turnover margin is often the easiest method to win on the road, but each Lynch and Wilson don't give it away.
A Local Look:Redskins
Hogs Haven dissects the film on Haslett's plan to repeatedly smash the Cowboys and wonders what may be to come for Seattle:
We required Jim Haslett and his defense to come together and help bring us into the playoffs.
And the game plan that defensive coordinator Haslett put together was certainly gutsy, but it was executed flawlessly, and left Tony Romo and the Cowboys stupefied. The Redskins sent blitz after blitz in the hope of getting to Romo before he was able to make an attempt.Sometimes they disguised the blitz by using similar designs but at other times, they didn't try to hide it at all.
local takeaways:Seahawks
Kenneth Arthur of Field Gulls analyzes the Seahawks conclusion to the season and looks forward to Washington:
I certainly hope that Madden NFL 24 is going to ignore the Seahawks for the second time and go with the Redskins and their Most Outstanding Rookie of the YearRobert Griffin III,as well as their seven consecutive wins over Seattle. Please count those Seahawks out. It's precisely what this team is all about. We,myself and you are Seattle fans.We wereborn with chipped shoulders. It's not like we were given anything. It wasn't the case with Richard Sherman,or Wilson as well as Doug Baldwin,or Brandon Browner. An even win?An 80-yard drive was needed to score the touchdown?Griffin getting his place in the
